Mary Mwangi

Kenya Operations Director

Mary oversees the management of all our projects in Kenya and works closely with our UK Director Vic, our UK Board of Trustees and our Kenyan Board of Management.


Vic Hancock Fell

UK Director

Vic leads the work of Raising Futures Kenya from the UK and works closely with our Kenyan team and UK Board of Trustees to secure income for the charity, ensure the impact and sustainability of our projects.


Kirsty Erridge

UK Director

Kirsty and Vic work closely to manage Raising Futures in the UK, Kirsty is the UK Director whilst Vic is currently on maternity leave. Kirsty leads on financial management and some elements of fundraising and works closely with our team in Kenya and our UK Trustees and volunteers.



Seed of Hope Manager

Florence is a trained teacher and oversees the management of our three Seed of Hope centres. Florence also supports our students with counselling, mentorship and personal guidance.

Winfred Kavutha

Kenya Projects Manager

Winfred supports the implementation of our projects with particular focus on our family strengthening project and child protection and safeguarding.


Sherry Waweru

Kenya Senior Projects Officer

Sherry is responsible for monitoring the impact of all our projects and working with Vic and Kirsty to help keep our donors up to date with our work.



Seed of Hope Kitui Headteacher

Charity is the Head Teacher at our rural Seed of Hope Kitui centre in Eastern Kenya. She leads a team of teachers and support staff and works closely with the centre's Board of Management and Florence, the Seed of Hope Administrator.


Seed of Hope Kariti Headteacher

Margaret is the Head Teacher at our rural Seed of Hope Centre in Kariti, Muranga County. She leads the team of staff and the Board of Management and works closely with Florence, our Seed of Hope Administrator.

Andy King

Chair of Trustees

Andy is a charity specialist working at Remarkable Partnerships. He believes deeply in our mission to support young Kenyans to shape their own future, and is constantly inspired by the stories that come through. Having won numerous awards in the sector, he is excited to drive the team forward to new heights.


Dr Noorzaman Rashid

Adviser to the Board

Noorzaman has over 20 years board and executive level experience working across national and international organisations to improve individual, team and organisational performance. He is currently a Managing Partner of a leadership development, advisory and consultancy firm working to create sustainable organisations.

James Bramble


James is the Director at Grant Smart, a consultancy offering expert support to grant-seekers, grant-managers, and grant-makers. He was previously Director of Development at the Institute for War and Peace Reporting (IWPR).


Deborah Kimathi


Deborah is Raising Futures Kenya’s former Field Director and is now CEO at Dignitas Project, another small Kenyan NGO. She has a Masters in Education and International Development from University College London and over fifteen years' experience working in education and development.


Jo Chamberlain


Jo is the National Environment Officer for the Church of England and has over 6 years' experience working within the non-profit sector in the UK. She has a first class Masters degree in International Relations.


Andrew Munnings


Andrew is a highly experienced Project/Operations Manager focusing on financial crimes and compliance. He grew up in South Africa and volunteers for a number of nonprofit organisations.


Brogan Pierce


Brogan is our trustee responsibility for staff, volunteer and supporter welfare. She holds an MA in Educational Leadership, and focuses on mental health provision and safeguarding in schools.


Stephanie Lemkes


Stephanie has been a supporter of the charity since 2004 when she was just 14 years old! She is now an integral part of our team supporting our social media management to keep all our supporters up to date with our work.

Philip Keet


A successful businessman and Founder/Chief Executive Officer of Millennium Consulting, Philip Keet was born and spent his formative years in Kenya. Established in 1995, the consultancy supports global organisations with their technology journeys by providing advice and delivering finance and technology transformation solutions.
